One of my favorite things about making this movie has been writing cool parts for incredible actors, and then watching them knock it out of the fucking park.
Today’s case in point is the amazing Blair Nesbitt, who rocks the role of Quinn McMann. Quinn’s the rebellious, hard-drinking granddaughter of the late Granny Fanny, who rejects the code of silence imposed by her robber baron family’s vast wealth and privilege. She’s a troublemaker, a truth-teller, and – as is often the case – a very troubled young gal.
Blair kicks ass all over this role, with a performance so fully-inhabited, nuanced, and natural you can easily forget she’s acting at all. That level of believability is what all great actors strive for. Which is why I don’t hesitate to call her great.
So treat yourself to this one-minute peek behind the mind of the divine Ms. Nesbitt. You’ll be glad you did!
